Brief Description: In this role, you will be the on-site point person for food safety and related governmental agency compliance for Schreiber Foods. Together with Quality Systems, you will develop, implement and monitor plant sanitation programs to ensure the manufacture and delivery of product is accomplished in a food safe atmosphere at all times. You will also lead the plant effort to attain a pathogen-free environment through the leadership of sanitation crews, including the coordination of sanitation activities, partner training, inspection and continuous process improvement efforts. Detailed Description: Duties of the role include: Maintaining, revising and monitoring the location master sanitation schedule Working closely with production and maintenance personnel to establish effective and efficient sanitation activities necessary to maintain a food safe atmosphere within the facility at all times Together with Quality Systems, developing, revising and monitoring the sanitation process within the facility to ensure compliance to all company and agency food safety requirements Conducting final sanitation inspection as well as ensuring all equipment and environmental surfaces are sanitized prior to production of food products Responsibility for the performance of the sanitation crew in establishing and maintaining a pathogen-free environment, through the use of goal setting, performance feedback and ensuring understanding of plant and sanitation priorities Establishing, revising and training sanitation and janitorial personnel on required job responsibilities Conducting random audits of partner knowledge/performance based upon established Schreiber Food Safety Program criteria Verifying and documenting chemical concentrations used during clean-up Overseeing and directing daily sanitation activities Responsibility for maintaining the location MSDS program Conducting periodic training for new partners as well as ensuring compliance by all partners to all warnings associated with the chemical in question Maintaining updated chemical lists and ensuring the safe storage and security of all clean up chemicals Together with Quality Systems, developing, revising and maintaining the location pest/rodent control program Responsibility for the security of all chemicals associated with the pest/rodent control program Maintaining all plant sanitation records so as to document sanitation effectiveness -- this includes records for environmental/equipment swabbing, cleaning schedules, rodent and pest control, and sanitation personnel training and performance activities Continuously improving sanitation practices based upon results Championing the company efforts towards a pathogen-free environment through the use of presentations; on-going measurement; coaching; and stump speeches Additional Details: Exciting opportunities. Required Expertise • Web Systems/Servers: Unix, Linux, Windows IIS/XP, Apache, Tomcat, Axis2 Web Services, CVS, HTTP, SSL. • Web Technologies: RSS, XML, XSLT, J2EE, ASP, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, XPATH, SOAP REST, SEO • Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment and ability to manage multiple priorities is required. • Excellent written, verbal and communication skills along with a high level of interpersonal skills are required. • Successful candidate should be a team player with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others. • 1 or more year's of experience in web application development and web systems. • BS/BA in Computer Science / MIS degree required.
