Journeyman Electrician (Maintenance Technician III)

Journeyman Electrician (Maintenance Technician III) We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician (Maintenance Technician III) to join our team at Cambridge Major Laboratories! The Journeyman Electrician (Maintenance Technician III) performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electric energy. Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment and using a variety of electrician's hand tools, measuring and testing instruments. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS We require a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on Electrical Engineering. We will also consider an equivalent combination of education and work experience. A minimum of five years demonstrated work experience as an Electrician, as well as a current Journeyman License. Requires experience working in a GMP manufacturing facility and regulated industry. Also required is the ability to perform installation, maintenance or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electric energy. Ability to install or repair a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in an electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician's hand tools, measuring and testing instruments. The ability to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals technical procedures and governmental regulations is required. In addition, the ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals, as well as effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers. The ability to perform basic math functions, compute ratios, rate, and percentages and the ability to draw and interpret graphs and charts. The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. The ability to work with people at all levels of the organization is required, as well as a basic knowledge of computers and business software. Minimum Qualifications • Superior analytical, quantitative and critical thinking skills. • Adept at leveraging RA systems and desktop apps to “drill down” to resolve complex issues • Demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in simple terms, present results, and translate statistical and business terminology to various levels of management. • Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines. • Demonstrates strong project leadership and superior attention to detail. • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal). • Minimum of three to five years finance or related business experience is required. • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office software.
