Pediatric Educator - Minneapolis-Chicago-Milwaukee

Details: The Pediatric Educator is responsible for delivering education to pediatricians on growth disorders, accurately measuring infants and children, correctly plotting growth measurements and analyzing growth trends over time to diagnose and refer appropriate patients to specialist. They will also provide educational tools and approaches that the practice can use for measuring growth and for discussing growth disorders with parent(s) or guardian(s). Each pediatric educator will be responsible for ensuring program goals are completed within their territory. RELATIONSHIPS: The Pediatric Educator reports to the Manager, PEP. Internally, effectively collaborates with home office, sales, marketing, medical and legal personnel. External relationships include patients & healthcare providers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Enroll physicians in the PE program and conduct educational programs in pediatrician offices for HCPs and office staff to ensure all knowledge is current * Perform practice assessments and evaluate practice adoption of new skills Implement PE curriculum and direct overall staff training, programs and educational goals under very general supervision, following PE guidelines. * Executing on PE tactics and demonstrates adaptability if/when the strategy changes. * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies and procedures * Adjust territory routing to help ensure that targeted providers receive exposure to Pediatric Educator program. * Analyze territory business performance and adjust direction to reach program goals * Manage administrative responsibilities, including, pre-call planning, territory management and activity reports * Prioritize budget resources to drive access and overall PE strategy. * Communicate effectively with field counterpart to leverage collaborative opportunities while staying within PE and Novo Nordisk policies and guidelines. * Work closely with management giving insight and gaining knowledge of the staffs' and patients' educational needs. * Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals * Responsible for the completion of territory goals.
