This role will also develop and implement risk assessment models, methods and analytics and will work closely with the CFO, FP&A team and VP of the Ingredients business unit. Assure hedge accounting compliance with GAAP and assist in the development and maintenance of technology tool to convert risk management data into risk management information with which to make effective decisions. Develop board/management reporting package that assists users in understanding risk management strategy and execution of that strategy (financial impact). Will develop, monitor and communicate risk management measurement methodologies including a risk limit framework, stress testing scenarios and risk policy. Identify dairy market trends and use the dairy futures market and/or OTC swap market to limit or mitigate risk on cheese, whey, butterfat and milk protein products. Build and maintain supply/demand models in which to aid in forecasting dairy market pricing direction.
