Job Summary: This position is responsible for management of manufacturing, manufacturing engineering and other related activities within the value stream. The manufacturing manager ensures expectations are met for safety, customer, profitability, cash flow and employee growth. Responsibilities: Ensure capacity and proper training are in place to deliver products to committed dates with excellent quality. Drive execution of the value stream to meet revenue targets and participate in setting financial plans, capacity plans, and material plans during the SIOP process. Ensure the safety of each employee on the team. Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and Practical Process Improvement to deliver year over year results on profitability growth, increased service levels for the customer, increased cash flow and employee allegiance. Prepare and implement expense, capital and headcount budgets that support the manufacturing plans. Recruit, develop and retain quality professional and technical employees using our performance management and development process. Give guidance to supervisors on recruiting and developing employees. Participate in new product introduction and provide operations input on new products that will improve manufacturability and reliability and launch on time. Work closely with Supply Chain staff to ensure proper scheduling and parts availability. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations or technical field; master’s degree a plus. 5 years experience managing people preferred. 5 years experience in manufacturing, R&D or related. Six sigma experience and certification a plus. Experience in utilizing lean tools in manufacturing areas, with experience leading various Kaizen or other team actions required. Experience in the management of global manufacturing preferred. Effective project management and problem solving skills required. Demonstrated effective communication skills required. Details: Our Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for assisting in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Under the supervision of the RN(s), directs and guides patient teaching and activities that commensurate with his/her education and demonstrated competencies. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists in the assessment of the physical, psychological and social dimensions of patients in the Health Care Unit and, as necessary, in the housing units. Assists in planning an individual treatment program by using available resources in planning care, and consults with RNs and other staff as appropriate while applying knowledge and resources in planning care and patient teaching. Implements individualized treatment programs as directed by the Health Care Practitioner. Count controlled substances, syringes, needles and sharps at the beginning of each shift with another staff member and sign count logs. Implements clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols. Intervenes with proper safety techniques, procedures and standard precautions. Responds to a code or health emergency within standard guidelines. Implements medical plan through administering medications in accordance with Health Care Practitioner's orders and protocols: Administers medications according to proper techniques and procedures including IV therapy (when certified) and all other approved routes of administration. Uses pharmacy knowledge and available resources to include drug reaction and overdose in administration of medications. Implements medical plans through obtaining diagnostic tests in accordance with Health Care Practitioner's orders and protocols: Obtains body fluid specimens and performs EKG's using proper techniques and procedures. Communicates information to ancillary departments using established referral process. Perform other duties as assigned.
