Completes and files appropriate FROI and SROI's as required by individual State Workers Compensation Statute and EDI reporting regulations. Claim Zone Field assist referrals and/or outside consulting expert may be utilized to gather, obtain and secure critical information. Partners with SIU and Subrogation to identify fraud and subrogation opportunities. Maintains and develops current knowledge of: assigned insurance lines; court decisions which may impact the claims function; current guidelines in the claims function; and policy changes and modifications. This may require attendance at various seminars or training sessions. Completes state and other regulatory reports/forms to include EDI forms as required by each State Workers Compensation Statute or State Regulatory Rules. Details: The Staff Psychiatrist is responsible for medical and clinical services such as providing medical histories, physical examinations, medication management, and medical care and treatment in community based programs including MYPAC and Therapeutic Foster Care. The Staff Psychiatrist will work closely with clinical leadership to coordinate and supervise clinical services by therapists, CARES School staff, contract service providers, clinical case managers, admissions, utilization review staff, volunteer services, and internship/practicum students. The Staff Psychiatrist will work with the teams in the treatment programs to plan, organize and implement psychiatric clinical programs; and provide quality care to individuals served. These services may be delivered on site with face to face contact or via teleconferencing through computer network.
