Details: Sleep Number is currently hiring for an Order Fulfillment Specialist for our warehouse in Plymouth. In this role, the Order Fulfillment Specialist will review upcoming customer orders, pick and pack necessary pieces to complete orders, label and ship orders in accordance with customer and system specifications, monitor and record inventory as appropriate. Major Duties & Responsibilities Post all Journal Entries to the General Ledger Monitor and record Bond and Commercial Paper purchases Track cost of Job Pursuits Record Fixed Asset purchases, sales, and depreciation Reconcile cash position for all Joint Ventures Maintain the General Ledger Perform account analysis and monitor for unusual items Interact with all department managers, as well as internal/external companies Provide support for financial statement preparation Prepare audit workpapers and schedules Interact with outside auditors Job Skills & Abilities Guidelines Advanced knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial statement preparation Knowledge of computer systems (eCMS preferred), including Microsoft Office products Strong ability and interest in account reconciliation and documentation Must have strong work ethic and professional attitude Ability to prioritize workload; learn quickly; sensitivity to confidential nature of assignments Sincere believer in team concept, with ability to communicate previous initiatives in that regard Strong organization and communication skills Ability to work evenings and weekends during quarterly close and as needed Hands-on attitude Education and/or Experience Bachelor degree in Accounting 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in Public Accounting To be considered please send your resume to .
Mechanical Engineer
Details: Conceptualize and develop precision opto-mechanical systems, kinematic mounts, thermal systems for high power optical elements, and the associated alignment strategies and installation tooling. Collaborate with system engineering, mechanical architects and lead scientists to realize the module requirements in the delivered hardware. Develop opto-mechanical analysis models supporting concepts and designs; identify and implement breadboards to benchmark component and assembly performance. Provide technical guidance to the ME/OE team to achieve alignment tolerance budgets, thermal and dynamic budgets and environmental isolation requirements. Document module design conformance with requirements, and drive verification tests and instrumentation strategies. Provide technical guidance on project plan and configuration management.
