We are currently looking for an experienced Conventional Underwriter in Irving, TX. Overview: Our client is looking for an experienced, professional individual to join our Correspondent Underwriting team. This position will report to the AVP Pre Purchase Underwriting and will perform pre purchase or post purchase underwriting reviews on selected conventional and/or FHA loan products, in accordance with the guidelines of the Correspondent Lending Division. Duties Include: Perform pre purchase underwriting risk reviews on designated loans based on specific selected criteria. Assist with pre-purchase Underwriting reviews of loans, as needed. Assist the Investor Suspense and Post Purchase groups to resolve loan salability issues. Assist the Auditors to resolve any pre-purchase issues, as needed. Assist Underwriting Managers and Sr. Underwriter with additional tasks, as needed. Other duties as assigned
