Key Responsibilities: -Partner and work closely with the solution owner and program manager to manage the following responsibilities: -Define, plan, and direct the execution of a broad range of technical projects, while balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk. -Work within accepted IT PM methodologies -Ensure project objectives/requirements are clear and agreed to by all stakeholders -Manage relationships with various technology and business communities to achieve project objectives -Facilitate project management activities across the entire project management methodology -Establishes and maintains effective communication for assigned projects and with dependent projects -Ensure successful and timely completion of deliverables -Suggest improvements to improve operational efficiencies -Conduct risk management planning, identification, analysis and monitoring on projects -Formulate risk mitigation strategies and recommend solutions -Manage the processes and documentation required to ensure timely transition to support Skills: -8+ years of experience as a successful Information Technology Project Manager using structured project management processes -Deep understanding of SDLCs -Demonstrated competency planning and tracking project schedules -Proven ability to obtain results in a matrix environment -Track record of delivering projects on time and on budget -Ability to see the interrelationship of a project across "the big picture" and understand its dependency on other projects in the program as required -Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, within IT and Business teams -Exceptional listening, problem solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills -Proven leadership abilities and emotional intelligence -Demonstrated success handling initiatives of high complexity and risk Plus: Pharma or Biotech experience Education- Relevant Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, Life Sciences, Business; or equivalent experience Plus: Post-graduate work in a related field dblaker AT teksystems DOT com About TEKsystems: Join TEKsystems®, a leading IT staffing, IT talent management and IT services firm, and get your career on the fast track.
