With new growth in the area, we have incredible employment opportunities for: POSITION : IT Technical Support PRIMARY OBJECTIVES: This position will work with our Field Technical Support team to support POS and other technology installations, as well as provide hardware & software technical support and training. The position will encompass field assignments which will include POS, PC and software installations in addition to training and support of proprietary software. Local and out of town travel will be required as well as some weekend assignments. Configure hardware and install software for both Guckenheimer and vendor POS and Digital Signage systems. Troubleshoot POS hardware issues and provide user support and training Support project managers with assessment of system requirements, and proposal of potential business solutions related to POS technology Provide installation documentation, diagrams, and system overviews upon conclusion of system installations. Provide other systems support as requested by management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY None QUALIFICATIONS Enthusiasm, professionalism, flexibility, confidentiality, a team player, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to install, troubleshoot and support PC hardware software Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate professionally with all levels of a corporation Organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills. Willingness and ability to learn and support new applications. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Requires an AA degree or equivalent experience in PC hardware technology. Must be fully competent in MS Office, Windows OS, PC technical support. Solid familiarity with networking topologies, TCP/IP, HTML, Point Of Sale system background highly desirable.
