Details: SUMMARY ***Long term temporary position*** Installation of Laser Material Handling machinery on customer sites across North America and Central America. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise riggers and help off load semi trailers loads of machinery. Assemble and connect all components to create one system. Installation of wiring, mechanical modifications, and troubleshoot problems. Work with general contractors on foundation requirements, assist and advise on concrete pours as needed. Answer questions to the customers’ utility contractors where to connect the power, water, compressed air, laser mix, O2, and N2 gases. Installing software updating and programming PC bas and PLC controls. Operate and adjust system before anchoring to the floor. Instruct customers on operations and maintenance. Connect and install all safety fences, chains, switches, lights, sirens and make sure the operators understand them. Installation as needed on Press Brakes, Lasers, EDM and Grinders. Prepare weekly expense reports and paperwork. Other duties may be assigned.
