The Innovation Labs is seeking a Sr. Director, Collective Innovation Platform (CIP) Partnerships with a focus on building high quality partnerships with disruptive and innovative technologies. In this position you will engage with product and technology teams across Flextronics to identify and develop relevant technology partners that help drive the Flextronics Collective Innovation Platform. As a member of the Innovation Labs team, you will drive, define and own the criteria for partnerships tiers, technology qualification leadership and bi-directional support and leadership, between and among our partners and our Global Design and Engineering teams. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES: • Work with Flextronics technology leads and Business Segments to understand technology needs and map available partner solutions to those needs. • Conduct high-quality business, market, and competitor analysis in collaboration with our marketing team; and help identify and assess existing and new market initiatives. • Define qualification criteria for different partnership tiers. Work with supply chain, legal and finance teams on partnerships tiers and agreements, defining the service level agreements (SLAs) and commercial terms. • Develop key relationships with partner technologies, silicon vendors and internal design teams in context of the direction and roadmaps for key technologies in planned Center of Excellence (CoE) and Flextronics Segments. • Manage CIP partner intranet with CIP partner collateral, material and SLAs. Cross reference with applicability to CoEs and Flextronics Segments. • Ability to communicate concepts and processes in a concise and instructive manner in writing and in person with excellent communication and negotiation skills • Advanced quantitative aptitude and problem solving capabilities; ability to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects with minimal direction PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: (include experience required with specific software applications, equipment, or specific certifications and education requirements such as MSME, MSEE, APICS, etc) REQUIRED Basic Qualifications (must have skills): • 15+ years of related experience in developing and supporting products, with 5+ years providing direct or indirect leadership to teams of engineers • Must have technology and product development experience including a diverse array of technologies and products • Technical knowledge and experience in designing products, with familiarity in design tradeoffs, risk mitigation, design tools and process • Experience working with and integrating advanced technologies • Degree in Engineering, Science or Technology with exceptional academic performance • Experience in working on cross-company initiatives: standards boards, consortia, conference speaking, committees.. • Passion for innovation, technology and product development • Strong team player with excellent relationship and leadership capabilities • Enthusiastic about new technologies; demonstrating strong, influential technical leadership PREFERRED Qualifications (nice to have skills): • Awareness of market dynamics, products, and technologies in the various technologies • Familiarity with consumer, automotive, infrastructure or medical market is a plus. • Experience in some or all areas of software design, hardware design, computer networking, operating systems, system design and manufacturing supporting various types of products • System level knowledge of product architecture across both hardware and software technologies • Passion for innovation, technology and product development • Innovation experience demonstrated by patent, publications... • Experience in managing technology portfolio • Ability to work across multiple industries/markets and on a variety of problems • Project-oriented experience (academic or work-related) • Strong understanding of business software, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word Education or Training: • Requires a Bachelor's degree (BSc, BEng) or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Industrial or Computer Engineering
