Lead/provide direction to root cause analysis investigations and drive continuous improvement efforts on an ongoing basis. - Analyze and evaluate individual CAPA data to determine adequacy and and provide direction to stakeholders/ CAPA/Internal Audit teams on problem definition, investigation, identification of root cause, implementation plan development and verification of effectiveness. - Interpret company CAPA policies and procedures and provide direction, coaching, and mentoring for CAPA/Internal Audit teams to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. - Analyze, develop and implement improvements in the CAPA process to foster best practices, address changing regulations and in support of the company's strategic goals and objectives. - Serve as the CAPA subject matter expert during internal and external audits. - Develop and deliver training regarding CAPA/Internal Audit policies, processes, and practices including use of any electronic system. - Transform data into timely and comprehensive information and metrics on a periodic and ad hoc basis to monitor the status and effectiveness of the CAPA and Internal Audit system, recognize and escalate challenges in a timely manner to resolve process and product related issues and provide feedback to Executive Management of any issues that require immediate attention. - Work with Internal Audit teams in support of pre and post audit activities including managing the audit calendar, monitoring audit status and tracking audit findings to timely completion. - All other duties as assigned. - This position has no direct reports; however this position is expected to lead and/or direct others on a project assignment basis, managing projects and team members to ensure timely and effective completion of deliverables including providing guidance, coaching and/or training.
