Familiar with and can correctly obtain samples for a variety of diagnostic tests (Glucose curve, ACTH stim, bile acids, etc) Be familiar with generating estimate/consent forms. Clearly and effectively communicate discharge instructions to owners. Enter charges into Workflow for outpatient appointments and procedures. Maintain internal medicine procedure room. Stocks, organizes, cleans and maintains equipment on a regular basis. Participates in clinical studies at the direction of the supervising clinician. Assists clinician with client communication by replying to telephone and email messages via Workflow. Cross trains with the emergency service and participates in covering holidays. Advocates for the patient.
