Facility Manager, Airport Operations

Details: SCOPE OF POSITION Manages operations, employee relations and customer service to ensure the successful day-to-day operations of airport parking facilities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Directs, manages, and coordinates the activities of staff and contract personnel to ensure proper facility operation. Prepares annual expense operating budget and ensures that the facility is operating within budget perimeters and takes appropriate remedial action on negative variance. Reviews and approves bi-monthly expense reimbursement report. Ensures that proper parking, security, cash control and customer service procedures are being followed by all employees. Evaluates staff performance, serves disciplinary notices and handles first-step grievances. Acts as primary contact between the union(s) that represents the various classifications of employees (if applicable to airport operation). Inspects grounds, facilities and equipment to ensure safe and proper working conditions and to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance.Initiates corrective actions as needed. Serves as the primary liaison between the Airport and on-site management and the local operation and Corporate offices in Chicago and Nashville. Leads weekly phone calls/meetings with client to report on finances, operations and on-going projects/strategies. Coordinates and manages routine maintenance projects as well as special projects related to facility improvements. Supervises the work of sub-contractors to ensure that work is done properly and per the contract. Coordinates facility openings/closings and determines staffing requirements to accommodate work being done while ensuring desired service levels. Interacts with customers as needed to answer questions, investigate complaints/violations and resolve problems. Monitor office audits of daily cashier reports to ensure that proper sales totals are reported and recorded on time and to maintain security vigilance over possible employee theft and/or inefficiencies. Monitor and review all damage claims in order to assign responsibility for damages. Recommend and implement plans or programs to improve safety of operations to prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of similar claims. Details: POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of all nursing care prescribed and provided to the resident. Performs admission and periodic assessments on residents for functional and mental abilities. Assists residents in scheduling medical, dental and laboratory appointments. Assists physician with resident examination as needed. Reviews and transcribes physician's orders. Administers and documents medications in accordance to the five rights: right medication, right route, right resident, right time, and right dose. Provides medical treatments as ordered by physician. Monitors resident restorative nursing programs. Supervises and monitors medications for residents who self-administer. Observes residents and reports condition changes to physicians, health care proxies, and supervisors. Details: Lab Intern Simi Winery is seeking a lab technician, preferably with a wine-related qualification (biology, chemistry, microbiology, enology, etc.) or relevant experience, who is looking for an opportunity to gain more experience in the wine industry. Position Summary: This is a seasonal harvest position in the lab with responsibility for monitoring incoming grapes and fermentations and performing additions to fermenting tanks along with regular daily lab duties. There may also be opportunity to work in the cellar, assisting the crew with all aspects of harvest cellar daily duties. Duties may include but are not limited to: Monitoring fermentations and making additions to tanks. Testing incoming grapes for ripeness. Performing daily analysis and lab tests on juice/wine samples. Assisting in the set up of tastings. Collects samples as required for tasting and/or analysis using appropriate sampling procedures. Logging daily analysis results in excel, word and wine tracking software. Performing daily cellar duties involving punch-down and pump-over, assisting with pressing tanks, racking wine and working with barrels.
