Details: Job description/Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director, Clinical Coordinator, Supervisor or Senior Therapist is responsible and accountable for the performance of all respiratory modalities and respiratory assessments to patients of all ages in all patient care areas, including adult critical care and Labor & Delivery. Including but not limited to: administration of respiratory medications via Hand Held Nebulizer, IPPB or inline via a mechanical ventilator or during non-invasive ventilation. Perform Arterial Blood Gas puncture and analysis, Oxygen Therapy, Invasive and Non-Invasive Ventilator management, assists physician with performing Bronchoscopy, changing of Tracheostomy tubes when ordered, provide patient education, initiate and update patient care plan. Provides consultation, instruction, and/or technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members Provide infant, pediatric and adult Life Saving Efforts, as well as performing related duties as assigned or requested such as but not limited to stocking of supplies, maintain and monitor equipment, notify designated management of malfunctions of equipment.
