Construction Manager

Details: Atlanta based Hotel Management Company is seeking an energetic, motivated, experienced, team-oriented professional with an appetite for growth to fill the position of Construction Manager with preferably Hotel Renovation experience to join our team. We own and operate hotels in GA, and TN. We seek someone who wants to grow with us. Major responsibilities include but not limited to - P urchasing, inspecting and installation of all FF&E orders and maintaining strong work relationships with vendors, fellow team members, and other departments in order to complete the assigned projects on time and under budget. - Plans and directs hotel renovation projects, acting as a job site superintendent. - Coordinates operations and leads teams of employees engaged in moving and installing materials, fixtures, and furniture necessary for hotel renovation projects in accordance with blueprints and project budgetary mandates. - Assures that goals or objectives are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and funding parameters. - Conducts on-site inspections; ensures that all work is performed safely and in accordance with the company’s safety policies and procedures. - Coordinate and direct the bidding process. - Negotiate pricing and analyze bid packages to ensure the selected vendor is best suited for the order. - Compile, update and maintain the Project Contact List and complete bidders contact list - Execute tasks assigned by senior members of the project team in an efficient and timely manner. - Responsible for managing project “close out" procedures and timely completion of all required project close-out documents. - Schedule all required project meetings with necessary personnel, Subcontractors, Owners, Architects, Consultants, Vendors. - Prepare correspondence to Owner, Architect, Subcontractors, Suppliers and Vendors - Notify Subcontractors, Suppliers and Vendors of any changes to the plans, specifications and/or schedule - Inform management of any issues that arise which affects quality, budget, progress and safety - Performs all other duties as requested, directed or assigned within the scope of the job.
