Linux Administrator / Engineer

Sat, 06/06/2015 - 11:00pm
Details: Linux Administrator / Engineer Here is the short version of who we are and who we are looking for. We are a small IT firm. We have been in business since 1985. We manage systems across Indiana and we are expanding into Illinois. We probably can't compete with the larger firms when it comes to base pay, but we can offer you the chance to get in on the ground floor of our new project. We offer plenty of PTO, Health, AFLAC, Disability Insurance and we will provide a gym membership. We need a person who is creative with their problem solving. We are offering the chance to experiment with your own ideas. If you are the kind of person who will spend twenty hours building your own anything, (even though you could just buy one for less) just to see if you can do it... we would like to hear from you. Your skills should include: Linux Administration, SQL Database configuration, Red Hat Virtualization (or the CENTOS equivalent), PERL (of course), and SNMP. Knowing a little about POSTFIX would be great too. If you know these things, or if like most engineers you can pick up a book and learn it in a few weeks… we would like to hear from you. Thanks for taking the time to read our posting – good luck in your search!
