Program Manager - Anticipated

Details: The Program Manager -"Anticipated" is responsible for the planning and management of operations associated with a large indefinite delivery/ indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Serves as authorized interface with the customer’s Program Directors. Interfaces with management personnel, contract staff, and other cognizant officials. Formulates and enforces work standards, assigns contractor schedules, reviews work discrepancies, supervises contractor personnel and communicates policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates. Plans, coordinates, tracks and reports status of all ongoing projects. This includes effective and proactive communications on the status of projects, timely reports, and participation in meetings and planning sessions required to accomplish the objectives of CDC NCIRD. Creates project plans, manages and tracks progress, provides status reports, issues change requests, prepares recommendations and proposals, creates required documentation with specific formatting, and meets administrative requirements for effective and efficient operations within the scope of work. Provides guidance and direction for multiple, concurrent task orders with the goals of providing standards, technology, tools, and practices to protect our nation’s information and information systems. Responsible for functional areas to include: program/project management and execution; program evaluation metrics; technical, business, and operational analysis, documentation and assistance; technical integration services; strategic communications; facilitation of general meetings and consensus-building efforts; public and clinical healthcare integration, evaluation, and service delivery; data analytics and evaluation; program certification methods; research; assessment support; survey design, development, and implementation; policy and legislative issues; program management including pre and post award contracts; National and program standards development support; and general management consulting activities. Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output. Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) year(s) related experience, or equivalent combination of education / experience. Details: This client is looking for a Network Administrator to join their team at their Corporate Headquarters in Fairfield, CA. This position will focus on the overall health of the network, new network engineering, security, ensuring network connectivity throughout the company's LAN/WAN infrastructure, and all other technical considerations at the network level of the organizations technical hierarchy. This individual will manage the firewalls and the fiber network. Qualifications: Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, or higher, is required.
