PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES • Coordinate with and consult with colleagues to design, layout, or detail components, equipment and systems used during preliminary proposals, sales and applications coordination and manufacturing • Gather required information to assemble submittal and operation and maintenance manuals • Provide timely and accurate bill of materials POSITION QUALIFICATIONS • 5+ years proven industrial and/or municipal water and/or wastewater treatment design and drafting experience • Expertise in computer-aided design and drafting with an emphasis in AutoCAD platforms, especially the Inventor 3-D mechanical design software • Knowledge of industry specific drafting codes and standards, including but not limited to ANSI, AWWA and ASME. • Capable of applying industry specific drafting codes and standards, following functional specifications of the designs assigned • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • The ability to work together as a team member on all aspects of the job, including the sales effort, process design and development, engineering, procurement, project management, manufacturing and assembly, service, startup and troubleshooting • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent computer skills; including Word, Excel and Acrobat. • Associates degree or higher in engineering or AutoCAD training, or other equivalent adequate experience
