The Project Manager will report directly to the Directorof Development and will work from our Gulf Breeze, FL office. Out of town travel will be required forfuture out of town projects and the frequency will depending on the stage ofthe projects. Expect to travel 2-4nights per month. In the weeks prior toopening a hotel, expect to be on site full time. The Project Manager will be intimately involved in the planning,entitlements, preparation of the construction documents, the value engineeringof the design, the contracting process, and ultimately the supervision of thegeneral contractor to ensure the quality completion of the project under budgetand an on schedule. The Project Manager will coordinate with the department’saccounting manager. The project manager will also supervise the variousprofessionals associated with the project including the procurement agent,architect, engineer, scheduler, and others. The Project Manager will also work closely with the hoteloperations group to understand their needs and ensure that the new constructionprojects meet their requirements. Closecoordination with the operations group prior to opening is critical. The project manager may also be given responsibility forcapital improvement projects at various hotels and may also provide advice tothe chief engineers at Innisfree’s hotels.
