File Opening/Pre-Processing: Receives loan application packages from Loan Officers and/or Production Assistants, reviews for completeness and returns missing items list to origination staff for completion. Sets up loan for processing. • Ensures complete information is present in loan application, all disclosures are present and compliant and all necessary supporting documentation, advance fees, and application conditions have been received; • Performs LDP/GSA checks, CAIVRS, SSN Validation. Loan Processing: Validates loan application information using factual information derived from borrower-supplied information, third party services, and direct verification methods. Submits loan to underwriting and follows up on conditions through stage when loan is cleared to close. • Verifies and updates credit reports as necessary. Orders any trade line updates or re-scoring services; • Analyzes income and asset documentation, derives factual qualifying income, funds to close and reserve amounts based on proven information and updates loan application to reflect only verified income information. Orders necessary income and asset verifications via mail, work number or other sources as well as tax transcripts and SSN validation. Computes accurate preliminary HUD-1 including necessary funds to close; • Orders appraisal via established Appraisal Independence Policy. Analyzes appraisal report when received to determine any collateral problems which need to be addressed prior to underwriting. • Orders preliminary title report, survey as well as any other needed property reports such as pest inspections, well and septic reports, etc. • Updates origination staff throughout loan processing of status. Maintains closing timeline and reports any timeline deviations or delays to customer and origination staff. • Re-runs AUS decisioning with data input based solely on verified information and reconciles and differences in initial versus verified findings. • Validates pricing and lock information, obtains investor program guidelines and audits loan package to determine if the loan fits the intended loan program. • Review fraud audit report from underwriter and clears any issues. • Notes suspicious activity based on BSA/AML, USA Patriot Act guidelines, informs management. • Prepares neat, concise loan package, submits loan to underwriting. Follow up on all underwriting conditions until “Cleared to Close” approval is obtained. • Works with closer to secure items necessary for closing. • Communicates with customers in accordance with Safe Act and Regulation Z requirements. Refers applicants and prospective applicants to the National Mortgage Loan System-registered Loan Officer assigned to the respective file for discussion of loan terms. Performs clerical and/or administrative tasks on behalf of loan originators. Note: This is an operations role and incumbents may not perform tasks related to loan origination such as quoting interest rates, negotiating loan terms or soliciting for sales purposes without NMLS licensing. QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Details: Shuttle Bus Driver (Combo) Parking and Transportation Services Parking and Transportation Services has immediate openings for contractual Shuttle Bus Drivers. These drivers are responsible for ensuring the safe transport of community members who utilize the University shuttle and charter services. HOURS: Drivers in Combo positions will have regular hours during the academic semesters and must be willing to work additional hours when needed. During the winter and summer breaks, there will be no guarantee of hours. These positions have been identified as Essential personnel. Responsibilities: Drives shuttle vehicle on fixed or demand service routes; performs daily vehicle inspections in accordance with CDL requirements; drives charter routes as required; serves as informational source to passengers; documents any maintenance issues; assists with event parking as required; and performs other duties as may be required. Requirements : Two years of experience in the operation of medium or heavy duty commercial passenger vehicles. A valid Maryland Commercial Class B License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and no more than 5 points is required. At the University’s expense, candidate with Air Brake restrictions must obtain a valid Learners permit with no air brake restriction within 10 business days of hire. They must also then successfully obtain their regular CDL with no air brake restrictions within 60 days of hire. All candidates must be able to pass a Maryland Department of Transportation pre-employment physical and employees will be subjected to drug and alcohol education and testing as required under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the Department of Transportation (DOT) and State of Maryland regulations. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment. Salary: $14.43 per hour with University benefits that include annual leave days, holidays, sick days, and tuition remission.
