Essential Duties and Responsibilities Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing accounting policies and procedures. Participate in designing systems and controls which meet Company policy standards Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors. Prepare budgets and financial reports by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, products costing, etc. when necessary Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
