Details: The IT Generalist position is responsible for building up the IT department from scratch and being a huge influence on IT practices moving forward. Our client utilizes Windows Servers and it is important for this position to have a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure to help with everything from basic Help Desk tasks up to System Administrator opportunities. Details: Position Summary Repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers according to company standards and procedures. Essential Tasks 1. Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction(s). 2. Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment. 3. Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements. 4. Fix small dents that cannot be worked out with plastic or solder. 24. Position dolly blocks against surfaces of dented areas and beat opposite surfaces to remove dents, using hammers. 25. Sand body areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or paper to protect them from the paint. 26. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical window and seat operating equipment and trim to gain access to vehicle bodies and fenders. 27. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Details: This position is based in Geismar Louisiana and will be responsible for the successful management of the MRPL Zone Engineering team. This candidate will be a leader in safety and in identifying and helping plant managers prioritize safety, reliability and efficiency projects in the MRPL zone. The successful candidate will be the MRPL zone gate keeper on capital, insure zone MOC’s are technically sound, detailed, and of high quality. The successful candidate must have the ability to work well with people and support the technical knowledge development of their engineering team and the zone plant engineers. The successful candidate must be a solution orientated person who will drive issues and projects to closure in a timely manner both inside and outside the MRPL in a constructive and effective manner. Lead Engineering effort to support Zone Identify & justify projects to improve safety, efficiency, reliability and process control Assist Plant Managers in the resolution of technical and operational issues Assist Plant Managers in the investigation of operational incidents, Support the Plants and the Maintenance Center in the planning and execution of major TAR’s repairs and retrofits. Responsible for specific areas of payroll activities for the bi-weekly processing of payroll and changes to payroll (e.g. W-4 changes, retro pay, direct deposit changes, voluntary deduction set ups and changes). Compile, maintain, and update various spreadsheets to verify payroll data properly balances to reports. Responsible for regular reporting (e.g. quarterly and monthly). Review and calculate employee/employer withholdings for taxes and deductions. Audit garnishments on a bi-weekly basis to ensure that they are processed properly. Process wage attachment letters for government or banking agencies. Download files from third parties for payroll records. Review time reports from timekeeping system for completeness and accuracy and upload to payroll system. Maintain payroll files, new hire files, and separation documentation and changes. This includes filing and other clerical duties. Other duties as assigned.
