TOMAHAWK - We first told you about concerns about a nursing home operator in Tomahawk back in December. Now, we have new information on Golden Age in Tomahawk.
The state Department of Health and Human Services completed an investigation into the facility at the end of last month.
HAWKINS - You could face challenges trying to get kids to sit down and read during summer. But kids in Hawkins believe they're doing more than reading this summer. It's all part of a country wide theme called Fizz, Boom, Read.
"The whole idea is to get kids excited about reading, to keep them coming to the library to check out great books, and hopefully have some happy teachers at the end of the summer," says Hawkins Library Director Arlene Mabie.
OSHKOSH - There are reports of 2 separate plane crashes in Oshkosh, one yesterday and another one this morning. Both appear to be related to the Experimental Aircraft Association's AirVenture convention.
Oshkosh authorities say a small plane crash Wednesday has left two people injured. The Oshkosh Fire Department says the homebuilt plane crashed when it lost power as it was attempting to land.
MADISON - After protests, recall elections and lawsuits, a state supreme court decision came down Thursday morning on the law that effectively ended collective bargaining for most public workers.
The court has upheld the 2011 law in a split decision.
MADISON - The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Thursday morning voters can be required to show photo identification at the polls.
But that law remains blocked by a federal court decision.
The law was struck down in April by a federal judge in Milwaukee.
CRANDON - The case against an 18-year-old Laona man will go ahead after a Forest County judge found enough evidence to move forward Wednesday.
Austin Ginter, 18, faces reckless homicide charges in Forest County after a car crash killed 15-year-old Chance Harcus. Another 16-year-old girl was also injured in the July 13th car crash on Old 8 Road west of Crandon.
CONOVER - We now know the man pulled from the water of a Vilas County lake Wednesday died.
The Sheriff's Department says the man was in Upper Buckatabon Lake in Conover.
They now say the man collapsed over the side of his boat before being rescued from the water.
TOMAHAWK - An ATV crash sent a Tomahawk man to the hospital last night.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's department tells us 49 year old Michael Van Strydonk was hurt around 11 last night just outside of Tomahawk.
CRANDON - Prosecutors in Forest County accuse a group of four people of throwing rocks off of a bridge and damaging a car. Victims Wednesday described the sound like a bomb going off.
19-year-old Thomas Hines is one of four people facing charges for throwing rocks off of a Forest County bridge just after 3 a.m. June 3, 2014.
ONEIDA COUNTY - Oneida County could get a county administrator in the future. The county is reaching out to other counties with an administrator for input.
The board wants to know how the change might help the county. They'll take input into consideration during an August meeting.
RHINELANDER - Many hunters, wildlife watchers, and landowners would like to see more deer on their property.
The Wisconsin DNR wants to help them do that.
Its new Deer Management Assistance Program offers landowners a chance to partner with the agency.
WAUSAU - You can find tradition around every corner at the Wisconsin Valley Fair.

CONOVER - We don't know the name or the condition of a man in a boating accident. He got hit by his own boat. He was airlifted to a Wausau hospital after a boating accident in Vilas County Wednesday, according to the Vilas County Sheriff's Office.
LAC DU FLAMBEAU - More than two-thirds of visitors to the Lake of the Torches Casino say smoking bothers them.
That's just one of the results from the first-of-its-kind study on attitudes towards smoking in casinos.
The Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council and the casino in Lac du Flambeau joined together to survey more than 950 people in 2011.
WEST ST. PAUL, MN - A potential suspect in the shooting of a police officer in West St. Paul has been captured near the suburb of Woodbury.
Television news footage shows the man being pulled from his vehicle just off Interstate 494. Police have a massive presence with scores of officers and squad cars on site.
TOMAHAWK - The Tomahawk Classic Motor and Boat Show is a chance for people who love outboard motor boats to come together each year. The show is hosted by the Northwoods Chapter of the Antique Outboard Motor Association and is now celebrating the 35th anniversary of the show.

FON DU LAC - An armed standoff in Fond du Lac has ended with the arrest of a man accused of holding a gun to his wife's head and refusing to let her leave their home.
Police say the 37-year-old man was arrested shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday after the 28-year-old woman fled from the house. Authorities say two children in the home were not harmed.
MADISON - Oral arguments are set for Sept. 9 in the appeal of a federal judge's ruling halting an investigation into Gov. Scott Walker's recall campaign and other conservative groups.
The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago set the argument date late Tuesday. It comes exactly two months before Walker faces re-election.

MADISON - Some Wisconsin school districts worry about Governor Scott Walker's recent move away from Common Core educational standards.
Walker has asked the Wisconsin Legislature to pass a bill in January to repeal Common Core.
He wants to replace it with standards set by the public.
CRANDON - People in Crandon will welcome a new mayor after voting to remove Rob Jaeger from his position as mayor Tuesday.
More than half of eligible voters in the town voted. Challenger Dennis Rosa received a little more than two thirds of the votes, 378, compared to Rob Jaeger's 184, according to Crandon City Clerk Cindy Bradley.
