Train other functions (Test Engineering, Industrialization, Manufacturing Engineering, Plants, and Business Units) on standard final assembly, test and packaging processes that this function develops for Rockwell Automation. Drive re-use of processes. Develops methods for governance of defined processes in agreement with our OES Rockwell Production Systems organization. Performs asset management of processes internal to Rockwell Automation. Resolve complex process issues and reduce variation. Facilitate these process issues across plants and regions as necessary. Support New Product Introduction packaging and containerization with cost effective solutions. Develop and execute global packaging and containerization strategies. Develop and execute global packaging and containerization testing requirements where appropriate Establish and meet packaging and containerization cost reduction targets. Benchmark Rockwell Automation Plants and external companies for best practices and industry trends to drive the utilization of new technologies within Rockwell Automation. Provide project leadership across multiple Rockwell Automation Plants. Lead and directly supervise the final assembly, test and packaging process excellence teams. Manage and meet budget, expense & capital targets for the team.
