Details: We currently are hiring individuals for immediate production positions. In these roles employees will be operating in a new, clean facility. They will be operating machines that make many different kinds of plastic bags. Responsibilities will include setting up various machines, and ensuring that the process is running correctly. Individuals will also be doing all their own quality inspection to ensure a quality product. The hours for these openings will be 6:30pm-6:30am on a 3-2-2-3 schedule. Details: This is a Temp/Hire position for a Part Time Customer Service Traffic Coordinator at a growing manufacturing company in New London. They currently have about 30 employees. (They offer excellent pay at $14-18.00/hour!) JOB PURPOSE The centerpiece of this role is the coordination and/or arrangement of outbound shipments to their customers. The role also encompasses other responsibilities that are related to the workflow of shipping, such as maintaining the production schedule and invoicing. A secondary role is the job of leaving a lasting positive impression on their customers, having a desire to serve customers with professional verbal and written communication is critical. The role is shared with an experienced Customer Service Traffic Coordinator who works the opposing days. JOB DUTIES: When requested by sales and purchasing, provide advice on the best methods for shipping, and provide them with freight quotes from the best sources. Assist in the processing of new orders by reviewing shipping information, adding the order to the production schedule, assigning serial numbers, and distributing orders to others. Oversee the maintenance and updating of the production schedule as the order progresses through the process from order to completion. Publish the production schedule for weekly meetings. Ensure accuracy by reconciling invoices to the production schedule. Working hand in hand with customers and freight carriers, manage the shipping process from start to finish. Handle communications with all stakeholders and prepare all necessary paperwork. Types of shipments range from full truckload to small package service, with the majority of shipments being LTL. Most shipments are domestic; however, international shipping is common. Maintains accounts receivable by performing invoicing, and by processing credit memos and commission memos in the enterprise resource planning system. Resolves accounts receivable discrepancies by investigating documentation. Answer phones and provide professional assistance to customers and vendors, as the back up to the receptionist. The assistance provided will leave those on the line with a positive and lasting impression of Titan that exceeds their expectations. Performs various other duties and requests as assigned Hours: This is a job share where you will work a full day Thursday and Friday one week, followed by full days on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the following week.
