Corporate Trainer
Details: Generac Power Systems - Join the leader in the power industry! Our Eagle, WI facility is seeking a Corporate Trainer for our Corporate Training and Development group. As the Corporate Trainer, your function is to create and deliver training curriculum to employees and distribution partners. The curriculum consists primarily of product knowledge, industry fundamentals, a corporate overview and sales skills training. The ideal candidate will have the ability to properly present baseline technical information such as product sizing and installation. You will also be training on key selling skills: how to increase profits; marketing the generator product; effective communication; overcoming objections, etc. The prior components constitute approximately 60% of the position. The remaining components of this position are comprised of working with Instructional Designers to prepare classroom and online curriculum. Classroom curriculum consists of fully illustrated PowerPoint presentations, printed learner's guides, job aids, role-play exercises and handouts. Online curriculum development includes recording and editing narration, taking photographs to help illustrate the content, creating graphics, and working with other authoring software such as Adobe eLearning Suite. Due to the nature of this role, you need to plan on traveling about 50%, as some programs are delivered in a regional classroom setting. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of two years of technical or sales training experience. If no Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of five years of technical or sales training experience Proven track record of learning course content and delivery in a classroom setting Experience with MS Office Suite, with additional authoring software knowledge (Adobe eLearning Suite or similar) Additional Skills Preferred: The professional depth and experience necessary to deal with shifting priorities and moving deadlines Highly organized and detail oriented Strong communication and presentation skills Experience delivering technical product training Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. Ensures correct labs tubes are utilized for prescribed lab specimens and that lab draw and processing procedures are performed appropriately for all lab samples. Identifies and ensures appropriate follow-through regarding missed labs and specimens reported to be insufficient according to company policies and procedures. Ensures all specimens are appropriately packaged according to Department of Transportation (DOT) policies and procedures relating to shipment of blood or body fluid specimens and potentially hazardous material. Ensures that all labs are directed and delivered to appropriate labs. Reports alert/panic and abnormal labs results to appropriate physician. Ensures lab results are forwarded to physicians as requested.
