Train and supervise all temporary verifiers and data entry clerks, and ensure that all campaign reports are entered into our computer system accurately and timely. Verify as needed. Check accuracy of temporary staff’s work by reviewing their edits. Solve all campaign report problems through follow-up with Resource Development staff. Sign off on Tangipahoa and Washington Campaign “push” accounts. Responsible for the accurate and timely data entry of all Tangipahoa, Washington, and UW GNOA campaign pledges and designations and alternative funds pledges/payments, utilizing temporary staff as needed. Prepare all combined campaign pledges and designations for entry into our system to include adding and linking of new agencies to their federation, assign all book code numbers and eligibility codes to agencies, research designations and input all necessary data to ensure a smooth designation data entry process, and input corporate match designations. Prepare Tangipahoa and Washington campaign weekly deposits, ensuring that all work balances to the GL at month end. Prepare and key Tangipahoa and Washington campaign adjustments. Prepare monthly Excel spreadsheet summary of deposits and adjustments for Tangipahoa and Washington campaigns, as well as other spreadsheets as required to track campaign designations, sponsorship dollars and event dollars keyed into ANDAR system. Analyze collections monthly for Tangipahoa and Washington campaigns and follow up with the fundraising staff responsible for those campaigns to pursue collections efforts. Ensure completion of special event preliminary checklist and review for tax donation information and approval before inputting special event campaign reports into the ANDAR system. Set up local and national agency profiles in the ANDAR system at the beginning of each Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Train CFC data entry personnel to: input all CFC campaign reports, make bank deposit logs and deposit slips, and run register reports to check data entry. Maintain and update Accounting Coordinator’s deskbook manual of recurring duties. Database clean up in the ANDAR system, by merging duplicate individuals, and as time permits filling in incomplete fields in donors’ profiles (such as gender type, changing address abbreviations, adding middle initial if provided on pledge form, updating phone numbers.) Assess and resolve new situations that may arise, as they relate to your responsibilities. Perform other tasks as assigned and help out other accounting staff as requested.
