Details: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Benefits Coordinator position assists the Director with the administration, management, compliance, renewals & updates, and employee education & communication of benefit plans offered through St. Luke Benefit & Insurance Services Corp. to the employers (150+) and employees within the Diocese of Green Bay. In addition this position, manages Family Medical Leave, leaves of absence, and other employee areas that affects benefits. Special emphasis is placed on this position for the strategic planning and judgment exercised in balancing service to the employers while applying fair and consistent protocols to St. Luke’s complex benefit offerings. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the triage of and primary point of contact for diocesan employer and employee benefits questions. Determines the most appropriate resource to respond to those inquiries and concerns while ensuring responsive, equitable, courteous resolution. Maintains contact in person, and by phone/e-mail/mail, to insurance carriers, employers, employees, and beneficiaries to facilitate proper and complete utilization of benefits for all employees.
