The planning engineer will be responsible for preparing construction plans for upcoming coal terminal upgrade project. Lead Process Engineer 160000UK Summary of Position: The candidate for this role will provide process engineering support for the R&E Organization within the Baby and Child Care (BCC) Process team in Neenah, WI. The individual will support end to end process development expertise ranging from early process definition up to project commercialization and process optimization. This includes process trials, launch execution, and implementation of cost transformation in support of new product innovation or improvements for projects supporting the R&E Organization. Initially, this role is primarily focused on the Baby and Child Care assets for North America sites; however, it could be extended to other R&E Businesses including KCI. The role also interacts with cross-functional team members within the various R&E Brands. Just to mention a few: Huggies®; Pull-Ups®; Good-Nites®; Little Swimmers®; Slip-On-Diaper®; Depend®; POISE®; U by Kotex®; etc. and may flow to assist others platform teams as BCC Process workload dictates. Organization: The incumbent reports to an R&E manager and takes work direction from senior process lead(s) and process technical lead(s). Key Responsibilities: - Process Leadership role a) Carries out all work ensuring effective Safety behavior and Quality manufacturing standard practices are followed. b) Leads efforts to coordinate and execute development trial activity at KCPX Pilot Development Facility, North America and KC Global Manufacturing Facilities. c) May lead efforts to coordinate and execute development trial activity at a raw material or equipment vendor development or converting Facility. - Process Development role a) Develops and performs designed experiments, capability studies and machine trials that support the R&E product innovation pipeline. b) Uses standard written documentation to capture and transfer key learning c) Supports efforts to drive successful machine startups at North America and / or Global Manufacturing Facilities d) Uses Scientific Methods to prove process capabilities and statistical tools to analyze process data in support of process development for R&E. e) Seeks, recognizes, defines and solves problems/opportunities to support overall BCC Process Team objectives. f) Promotes usage of LEAN principles and leads 4-Step Problem solving sessions as needed. g) Manages self in accordance with the expected One K-C Behaviors and Culture of Accountability. h) Assists product/QA teams in addressing quality/specification issues and capabilities. i) Recommends and implements improvements and modifications to existing manufacturing processes to improve product quality and reduce waste and delay.
