Job Responsibilities • Provide financial information to various departments, including Management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, presents findings, analyses and recommendations. • Develop manage performance dashboards which serve to analyze financial results, monitor variances, identify trends and provide recommendations to cross functional Finance, Sales & Marketing leadership teams. These tools and templates include: o Annual Operating Plan (AOP) o Sales Presentation Materials via PowerPoint o Sales Forecasts and CRM Pipelines o Customer P&L’s o Monthly Dashboards & Metrics • Plan, Develop, Coordinate & Implement Standard Trade Funding Templates/ROI Tools including: o Direct & Indirect Customers o Deduction Reconciliation o ROI & Post Promotional Activity Analysis o Category Contribution Insights • Preform regular data analysis of financial information to identify variances and reasons for unexpected performance and effectively communicate recommendations regarding data sets. • Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for Executive Management and the Board of Directors. • Work closely with the Information Technology department to actively manage the company’s sales and profitability database to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data availability. • Engage in a wide variety of cross functional projects to assist in guiding responsible financial planning and assessment throughout the organization. • Maintain collaborative partnerships throughout the organization and coordinate ongoing ad hoc and strategic financial initiatives. • Provide input and provide recommendations to optimize policy, system and financial allocation decisions. • Maintain detailed records documentation procedures and assumptions, methodologies and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks. • Work to ensure quality professional product, as well as delivery of all work within established timeframes. • Provide support to the finance team in preparing Month End & Year End Financial Closing Activities • Responsible for providing support to finance team with various monthly reconciliations (i.e. bank reconciliations) • Set up of Vendors in ERP system • Perform commodity cost sensitivity impact analyses to understand the financial impact to the company of commodity cost fluctuations. • Responsible for preforming post-mortem review of Capital Investments to determine whether expected results were achieved and reporting results to the CFO and executive team members. • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations. • Protect the organization by keeping all financial information confidential. • Ensure that required competencies to carry out these job functions affecting product legality, safety and quality are met in accordance with the Quality Policy and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard. • Ensure compliance with corporate/plant safety standards and with applicable regulatory requirements while following the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices. • Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications • • 5 years of relevant financial analyst or relevant experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related discipline • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Superior analytical abilities, detail orientation and team work capabilities and focus • Exhibits strong self-motivation and driven by results focused action • Demonstrated effective public speaking skills • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP & Financial Systems • Advanced proficiency Microsoft Suite (Excel & PowerPoint) • Positive attitude, goal-oriented, and ability to work with minimal supervision • Dependable, flexible, and ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment • Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree in Accounting or related business discipline • Previous cost accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment • Six Sigma, TPM or LEAN certified • CPA license
