Details: We are looking for an expert in Engine Management Systems and Controls Design with OEM &/or Tier 1 level experience. We are looking for someone to actually do the job, not just manage the project. This is a long term (18mos+) contract opportunity with a well-known, worldwide company. Tasks: - Document engine control requirements - Review supplier software change documentation - Document test procedures - Verify ECM software functionality - Develop and test engine control algorithms in Simulink Required Skills: - Basic understanding of engine operation - Background in embedded controls - Understands software development process - Ability to relate written requirements to functional description and vice versa - Ability to use basic electrical test tools - DMM - Oscilloscope - Computer skills - MATLAB - Simulink Preferred Experience: - Embedded software development experience - Engine control (preferred) or other control applications - Model-based development experience - Familiarity with automotive diagnostic standards - J1979-DA - ISO 15031-5
