Machine Operator Job

Details: The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating one piece of converting equipment, such as the Beck, Clark Aiken power cutter, and the industrial laminator to produce materials within specified tolerances and quality standards. Responsibilities Perform all duties necessary to set up, adjust and operate one or more pieces of equipment as listed above and, with some assistance, operate other equipment to convert materials to established specifications. Select proper job supplies and verify that placed material conforms to order requirements; load onto or off machine or equipment, using care to align properly to prevent waste and best utilize materials. Report discrepancies to lead person or Converting Supervisor. Transfer completed materials from the machine to skids, pallets, containers, etc. Repackage unused bulk stock to ensure proper storage and maintain cleanliness. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion. Package or prepare materials for shipment. Tag or label materials with required information and complete work orders and records as required. Assist in the monitoring of required supplies, materials and equipment. Fill out inventory use slips for stock material used in the performance. Perform job within rated production standards. Provide feedback to the Converting Supervisor or lead person when production standards are exceeded Follow and comply with rules and regulations of employment as listed in the Associate Handbook, or as amended through memos or other methods of notification. Ensure that all quality standards are met, tests performed, and data collection/documentation completed as required by the Tekra Quality Program. May be assigned to perform other duties as required by the Converting Supervisor or lead person.

Supports the preventative maintenance program, performing repairs, and making improvements as necessary. Performs scheduled PMs, per documented instructions, to maintain optimum performance and reliability. Operate and maintain boilers, boiler water treatment, tower water treatment, and water softener systems. Must ensure they are in order performing efficiently and effectively to maintain the plant at optimum performance. (Not all inclusive.) Maintain organization and cleanliness of infrastructure equipment areas. Performs repair work and building maintenance such as: changing light bulbs for the facility, greasing and oiling equipment, and replacing pumps and valves on all utility systems. Mechanical Assembler

Details: Mission The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for performing mechanical assembly and winding operations of high power wind turbine generators. Responsibilities Include: Perform mechanical assembly according to work instructions and by following the organization instructions based in lean manufacturing principles. Work assignments are given regular process checks and final inspection. Use blue prints, work instructions and schematics to perform assembly operations. Ensure each check point and traceability of the component is collected and tracked properly in the computer system. Ensures each job is tracked appropriately using the job costing system so time can be billed correctly. Uses basic measuring, hand (impact wrenches, torques wrenches) and power tools as necessary for the assembly of specific parts. Advise the supervisor if the stocks to carry out the process are not sufficient. Maintains communications with the quality department to ensure work passes inspection and is ready for shipment timely. Use the non-conformity report to track any issue. Be involved in improvement group if it is request in order to solve an issue. Follow the plan and schedule defined by the supervisor and production department. Follow instructions to keep and follow 5S methodology Cross training in different workstations and different generators models, if required. Conduct electrical tests and determine where errors may be. Complete other duties as assigned.

Electrical Development Engineer
