ROBOTIC WELD PROCESS TECHNICIAN

Details: KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Ensure robot has maximum uptime and produces weld quality that meet or exceeds UAI standards. Excellent troubleshooting skills in order to maintain robot operation. Must be able to trouble shoot and determine root cause of any robot issue in order to be proactive in keeping robot fully operational. This may include, but not limited to, faulty or broken equipment, tooling issues, operator error, weld wire issues and part variations. Must establish standards to ensure each weld operator is tacking and welding parts consistently before moving to the robot cell. Responsible for scheduling and performing all preventative maintenance to cell or cells. Responsible for maintaining and ordering consumable robot parts- including performing minor gun repairs. Responsible for training and educating weld operators on the proper consumable changing intervals for the robot weld cell. Assist in the evaluation of different robotic equipment (weld guns, wire, etc.) in order to establish or improve best practices. Assist in product and fixture designs to facilitate robotic welding. Responsible for robot programming from engineering changes and new or existing product launches using Weld Pro software. Install and prove out robot weld programs. Analyze quality data to identify problem areas, and assist in resolving manufacturing processes. Schedule and train robot weld cell operators on offline software . Must be willing to attend offsite (out of state) training classes, lasting up to a week or more.

Alters the design as needed to result in the customer choosing the CenturyLink solution • Determine client requirements and provide designs for Managed Hosting Services, Cloud ,Virtualization , Outsourced infrastructure solutions (managed and un-managed), specialized Enterprise application suites • Understand power, cooling and other environmental constraints on a client’s outsourced infrastructure • Develop and grow technical knowledge base in Managed Hosting Services, Cloud, Virtualization , Outsourced infrastructure solutions (managed and un-managed), specialized Enterprise application suites • Pre-sales design and implementation expertise in CPE and Enterprise/WAN service integration • Documents, via diagrams and writing, and presents the solution to the customer, describes the benefits of the solution • Builds relationships with customers serving as the technical liaison from pre-sales to post-sales • Responsible for growing strategic product sales and revenue through proactive engagement with customers • Participates in strategic and tactical account planning • Follows industry technology trends through self-study and formal training and shares that knowledge with customers • Clearly communicates the customer design to the teams responsible for ordering, implementation and ongoing support • Provides technical training and development support to the local branch • Leads internal cross-functional teams to obtain required approvals of non-standard designs for customers A good candidate has a strong technical background in layers 1 through 3 of the OSI model and knowledge of the characteristics of various applications that ride over data networks (i.e. the performance requirements of packetized voice and video and of various data applications), has a desire to sell and is comfortable looking for opportunities once introduced to a customer. Prior experience as a Sales Engineer isn’t required; but rather the skills and knowledge needed to be effective. Job Responsibilities As a 2 nd Shift Shop Supervisor, your role in the process will be driving exceptional service and results for a manufacturing fabricator. Your specific duties in this role will include: Supervise daily shop operations and establish work priorities to meet production commitments. Establish shift objectives to support location goals and objectives Ensure manufactured products meet or exceed quality standards and initiate actions necessary to maintain standards. Order and supervise the necessary repairs and maintenance of machines and equipment throughout the production area. Administer organizational policies and procedures at the department level. Maintain records for the accuracy and timeliness of daily products, completed orders, and inspection reports. Enforce good safety and housekeeping practices as well as employee training programs. Drive manufacturing needs through safety, quality, delivery and cost with required results.
