Reporting to the CFO, the HR Manager will serve as a hands-on leader of a small HR team to support a growing company of around 300 employees. Evaluate current employee benefit programs for market competitiveness and cost alternatives, recommend benefits program modifications and lead efforts in implementing changes. This includes facilitating communication of plan changes and appropriate benefit document updates. Lead company compliance with all governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements and maintain knowledge of the latest practices in human resources. Review employee handbook and update to meet the organization’s current and future needs.

Details: WM Barr is seeking a PackagingEquipment Engineer-Mechanical for our Memphis, TN facility. This position willdevelop and execute packaging equipment, andprocess improvement projects to optimize plant performance. Responsible for complete development of capital projects,including product costs and financial justification. The position mayprovide engineering support on day-to-day plant activities as required. Work is performedunder the general direction of the Director of Operating Excellence. Key Duties and Responsibilities: · Identifies, develops, and manages packaging equipmentand process engineering improvementprojects that optimize batching, blending, filling, packaging, labeling and other manufacturing processes;identifies and designs projects to improve productivityand maximize efficiencies including the analysis of equipment layout, workflow, production methods, workforceutilization, scheduling, capacity planning, etc. · Manages assigned capital projects including equipmentdesign, integration, installation,qualification, standard operating procedures, and follow-up; provides training and technicalmanagement assistance for manufacturing personnel to support equipment and processes on start-up of the projects. · May provide technical assistance for production linesupervisors on day-to-day issues toensure the production of quality products in sufficient quantities to meet customer requirements; provides technicalassistance for line personnel to resolve problemsdiscovered during the blending, filling, packaging and labeling processes aswell as on special projects wheretechnical knowledge is required to complete assigned tasks. · Will be responsible for developing manufacturingproduct costs, understanding standardcost system, and developing financial justifications for projects, utilizing avariety of financial evaluationmethods (i.e. ROI). · May be assigned to work on new product development projects. · Develops and recommends capacity plans; developsmetrics and performs rates, efficiency, production data analysis;recommends and implements improvement projects · Investigates new technologies and their applicationto manufacturing processes; keeps current on all manufacturing processes bythe use of technical papers, trade magazines,trade shows, competitive intelligence and vendor visits. · Interfaces with Operations, R&D, QA, Safety andother departments to ensure allequipment/process changes are understood, clarified, and implemented. · Performs all work in accordance with Barr’s safetyand quality guidelines andprocedures; demonstrates clear understanding of these safety and quality objectives. · Performs other work and special projects as requiredby manager.

The Cardiovascular/Electrophysiology Nurse Clinician functions independently as a member of the Heart & Vascular Care Procedure Center patient care team that includes registered nurses, cardiovascular technicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, cardiology fellows and faculty physicians. This individual is responsible for helping to develop and implement systems to assure the smooth and efficient flow of patients for procedures in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab and the Cardiovascular (CV) Laboratory. Duties include but are not limited to the patient assessment, administration of medications, moderate sedation and hemodynamic monitoring of patients during EP and Cardiovascular procedures and other procedures scheduled in our invasive procedure labs. This position also assists in pre and post patient assessment and patient care, patient and family teaching, circulating, scrubbing, and hemodynamic monitoring during the invasive procedures. This individual is able to demonstrate clinical expertise in working with electrophysiology and cardiovascular patients during invasive diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures. This position requires the individual to be flexible in their work schedule. This individual has previous critical care experience with an emphasis on cardiology and is ACLS certified. Previous moderate sedation experience, ability to self direct, and the ability to organize varied workload are required. This incumbent demonstrates competency in the delivery of patient care from adolescent thru geriatric patient population. This position reports directly to the Invasive Cardiology Manager. This individual jointly evaluates performance with input from the Medical Directors of the EP and Cardiovascular Labs. Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8/10 hour shifts between 6:30 am and 5:00 pm with rotated late shift to complete scheduled procedures. Potential for future on call shift Saturday, Sunday and holidays. 40 hours per week. Pay: This position falls into Pay Grade 6FR. The salary range begins at $29.72 per hour. Experience that is directly related to the position requirements could allow the starting wage to be established above the pay range minimum. The focus of this position is caring for patients and families in the Ambulatory Procedure Center (APC) pre and post procedures and pre and post surgery. It includes providing care to patients having outpatient surgical procedures, inpatient and outpatient GI and Bronchoscopy procedures. The Nurse Clinician systematically and continuously collects and assesses data in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to provide therapeutic care to the patient and/or family. He/she performs all required elements of a nursing assessment including but not limited to physical examination, assessment of readiness to learn, psychosocial assessment, functional assessment and utilization of patient/family specific assessment scales as required. The Nurse Clinician is an active member of the multidisciplinary team and collaborates in the development, execution and evaluation of the multidisciplinary plan of care. The Nurse Clinician considers factors related to safety, effectiveness and cost in planning and delivering care. The Nurse Clinician’s decisions and actions are determined in an ethical manner with the patient and family. The Nurse Clinician establishes goals and strategies for meeting the discharge or continuing care needs of the patient, family, and/or other care provider. The Nurse Clinician provides care in collaboration with other nursing staff members; he/she delegates and supervises care in accordance with nurse practice acts and the professional nursing role. The Nurse Clinician utilizes research findings in his/her practice. He/she demonstrates knowledge of, and participates in, Improving Organizational Performance activities. The nurse clinician acquires and maintains knowledge in nursing practice and assumes responsibility for the professional development of self, other nursing staff and students. Work Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts (5:15 am and 7:00 pm). On-call responsibilities on weekends and holidays between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. 36 hours per week.
