Job Description The Rheumatology Sales Trainer will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of training programs to support the sales force needs within the rheumatology therapeutic area. Reporting to the Director of Sales Training, this position will work with field sales representatives, field sales trainers, external vendors, Marketing, and other Mallinckrodt team members to develop and execute sales training initiatives that increase sales force effectiveness. Responsibilities Work cross-functionally with commercial team members (sales, marketing, analytics, reimbursement, medical affairs, etc.) to develop and execute training programs and materials that support achievement of Rheumatology business goals. Support sales management efforts to increase sales force effectiveness by conducting “ride-alongs", identifying Rheumatology training/development opportunities and sharing “best practices" across the sales organization. The Sales Trainer will also partner with Regional Sales Managers in the development of local training initiatives. Manage all aspects of Rheumatology sales training curriculum development and implementation, both initial and ongoing. Evaluate the effectiveness of course content and make necessary adjustments to materials and delivery methods. Manage regulatory approval of curriculum and ensure compliance. Conduct routine needs analysis and provide input to development and implementation of annual training plans. Apply project management techniques to ensure projects are completed on-time and within established budgets
