RN CLINICAL NURSE II - CHILDRENS SHORT STAY UNIT

Details: RN needed for Children's Short Stay Unit (CSSU) which is an 8-bed unit dedicated to the care of patients requiring observation for 24 hours or less. Most patients are post-procedure or post-surgical patients including general pediatric surgery, otolaryngology, neurosurgery, oral-maxillofacial, orthopedics and urology. The unit cares for patients requiring infusion therapies and partial exchange transfusions. Patient ages range from birth to adolescence. A minimum of three years pediatric experience is preferred. Pediatric experience is preferred. This unit is open from Mondays at 7:00 am - Saturdays around noon. Staff are scheduled during those hours of operation.
