Process Water and Air Technician

Details: The Process Water and Air Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of respective systems to ensure water quality and system performance is within limits agreed upon by company and the customer. The Duties and Responsibilities of the Process Technician include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  Performs daily water quality analysis - operates sludge collection units, removes sludge as needed  Performs daily water and paint kill analysis  Maintains chemical inventory and monitors chemical feed system on a daily basis  Collects air volume, speed and other booth environment data using specialized equipment  Troubleshoots and maintains systems as needed  Interfaces with the customer and co-workers Process Technician Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts (conveyors, paint booth robots, and forklifts). The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work in high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme heat (non-weather) and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physical Demands of the Process Technician position: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, stand; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and taste or smell.
