Keep up with time off for your fleet Keep up with drivers being out for 3 or more days without excuses will need to get with Payroll about getting FMLA paperwork stated. Take drivers out of QHOS as well as Omnitracs when terminated and all new hires add to same. Repowers Manage drivers MPG, taking appropriate action to ensure compliance. When driver is terminated and/or leaves his card must be blocked and you will need to make sure they turn in fuel card, keys, ID card and paperwork. Approve vacation time for drivers on your board and send a copy of the approval request to Payroll. Update and email shop reports. Work directly with Shop Manager as well as sending daily shop reports to shop manager and fleet. Evaluate driver’s performance and recommend increases. Monitor drivers HOS, if they do not abide by them must bring them in and document and have them speak with safety. Document driver behaviors, problems, write ups, etc. (Print, sign and file) Make sure all drivers on your board are utilizing RFID tags when fueling at loves. Report any and all late arrivals, drivers being detained, OS&D’s, breakdowns, missed appointments, etc to customer service department by email. Keep advances under control. Setup driver’s cards for new hires if they are assigned to your board. (Fuel card) Assist drivers with needs they have via phone or face to face in a professional and courteous manner, and understanding their needs. Set drivers PTA according to when they will be ready for next load. Work closely with the customer service group to ensure drivers are planned and have hours to do their loads accordingly. Assist drivers when they have breakdowns with tractors and tires using our accounts. Keep up with drivers computer work on shipper arrives, departs, hooking and dropping the correct trailers, empty moves for time off. Keep up with empty truck list for both lease and company trucks. All other duties as assigned.
