The successful individual executes targeted and unique sourcing strategies in partnership with business segment leadership and HR leadership for key growth positions or targeted areas, and thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment, as someone who can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done! Responsibilities include: Achieving passive sourcing talent needs for assigned business areas with focus on more senior, difficult to fill roles or project based work. Recommending ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long range growth of Garmin. Understanding the engineering industry and sales techniques required to attract technical passive talent - develops and maintains strong technical diverse talent pipelines. Demonstrating metrics showing exceptional results at candidate generation, providing world class candidate and client/account management, organization, verbal and written communication skills. Leveraging multiple effective sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates (cold-calling, networking, social media, job boards, community organizations, etc) & building extensive networks throughout the industry of strong, diverse talent pools for future consideration. Serving as a talent advisor aligning where needed managers on effective strategies to attract and land key talent using excellent interpersonal and influence skills. Maintaining strong technical sourcing techniques (stays ahead of the trend) and staying current with recruitment compliance best practices. Leading/participating/training in special projects related to recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level openings. Drawing on extensive knowledge of talent acquisition and forms dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR business partners. Providing enhanced services to technical recruiters (including sourcing lists, data extraction and web mining), when work load is lower.
