Details: The Service Management (SM) Analyst I for Bus-Fin-HR provides support services for financial and business applications as outlined in the CHRISTUS Application Portfolio. Details: The RN Clinical Nurse Educator is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment that is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders and is supported through the Christus Cabrini. The RN Clinical Educator provides direct patient care and also assumes additional responsibility for the education or overseeing the educational needs of staff on his/her unit. The framework for practice is steered by Emergency Nurses Association (ENA). It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurse Educators are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Louisiana Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association. As a member of the patient services team, it is expected the individual upholds the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals. • Responsible for projects/processes that are essential to the success of the unit. (Charging processes, new hire orientation, maintain statistical data, time/attendance and QI). • Actively participates and manages operations during emergency situations, including participation in disaster preparedness. • Actively participates in meeting facility and strategic goals- ie COMPASS 2020. • Demonstrates successful conflict resolution in a timely manner with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members. • Provides appropriate feedback to the Manager from all customers to help identify needed improvement processes. • Supports the mission and vision of the CHRISTUS Health System and demonstrates excellent customer service at all times. • Understands and is committed to helping Cabrini and its associated facilities achieve its financial goals. Complies with System and facility safety policies and rules; • Serves as clinical resource to nursing staff, leadership, and medical staff for interdisciplinary practice. • Consults with preceptors/orientees and facilitates completion of the Performance Based Development System for competency assessment. • Serves as a preceptor (or mentor) for other professional nurses (and staff or students for all disciplines) to ensure that there is a current and future qualified workforce; modeling the professional practice of nursing and creating a healthy work environment. • Promotes Evidence based practice, nursing research and performance improvement in nursing. Participates in activities such as value analysis as part of the decision making process in evaluating patient care products. • Participates in data collection, poses relevant clinical questions to advance evidence based practice. • Consults appropriate experts and uses appropriate resources, data, and evidence to address practice questions. • Knowledgeable of policies, manuals, and communications. • Takes responsibility for self-growth and job improvements. • Enhances professional growth and development through participation in education programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops. • Attends meetings as required. • Serves as a unit representative at assigned meetings. Participate on hospital committees as requested and serve as consultant to other departments. • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
