EOR Reservoir Engineer - Tulsa, OK

Details: With continual success since 2005 and an employee growth of more than 20% in 2012, this publicly-traded E&P firm in Dallas has a history of exploiting proved reserves to maximize production, primarily through waterflood projects in the Mid-Continent. As of December 2012 their total proved reserves were 13.1MMBoe of which approximately 99% were oil and 67% were proved developed, both on Boe basis. Currently, they are seeking to add to their team a Reservoir Engineer in Dallas and one in Tulsa. This role will be part of the asset team, and the work will consist of evaluating primary and secondary recovery projects using material balance and other analytical tools. • Present actionable learnings, build reservoir models, and put together a field development plan to optimize waterflood performance • Prepare an optimized conversion schedule to tie new injection to the needs of the drilling schedule and ensure new wells have the waterflood support they need to perform • Lead annual reserves forecasting, building type curves for production, and build out areas in the field for WOR type curves based on waterflood maturity QUALIFICATIONS: • BS in Petroleum Engineering (or related discipline) • Minimum seven (7) years of industry experience with an operator • Significant waterflood experience The company offers a sound compensation package that includes a competitive base salary and bonus target, full health benefits (employee is covered 100%), immediate 401K vest, flex work schedule, tuition reimbursement, relocation assistance, and most importantly - growth potential.
