Create and maintain benefits information and communications channels including new plan introductions and rollouts. Provide education and training on benefits plans and programs to functional leaders and team members. Prepare and deliver required regulatory reporting. Coordinate company benefits with government-sponsored programs. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops/webinars, establishing networks and participation in professional societies including staying current with state and federal regulatory trends and requirements. Manage vendor partner relationships. Qualifications: Highly skilled at researching, analyzing data, reporting and maintaining comprehensive records. Excellent phone presence, etiquette and professionalism with a strong customer service orientation. Working knowledge of local, state and federal laws governing benefits and benefits administration including leave administration. Strong communication skills – verbal, written in English. Demonstrated ability to protect and maintain confidential and personally identifiable information. Basic understanding of financial and business principles. Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Demonstrated proficiency in project management. Three plus years administering benefit plans and programs; preferably in an environment with multiple plans. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, other related field or commensurate experience. Current on Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Knowledge of laws pertaining to FMLA a must.
