Job Responsibilities : Oversee operations of large billing department; coding, claim submission, charge denials, A/R, posting payments and reimbursement management – complete revenue cycle management Serve as the Practice Expert and go to person for all coding and billing processes Plans and directs work load, work flow, process enhancements and other mechanical systems of staff to maintain positive results and a positive workforce atmosphere Analyze: billing claim edits, denials, contractual fees vs. actual payments, tasks, unbilled encounters, daily activity and monthly billing reports – identify issues, define remediation plan, educate staff, monitor improvements Ensure the activities of the billing operation are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol, and are in compliance with Federal, State, and payer regulations, guidelines and requirements Participates in the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures for Billing staff Keep up to date on all carrier rule changes and distribute the information to key stakeholders in the practice while educating and working into existing workflows Maintains a working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPPA and all health regulations Provides and oversees the coordination of training for new and existing staff on applicable operating policies, protocols, systems, procedures, standards and techniques Supervises billing office personnel which includes problem solving, training, evaluates performance, adherence to all company policy and procedures, motivates employees to achieve peak performance Coordinates team member time off in a manner that does not negatively impact necessary daily functions Performs miscellaneous duties and special assignments or committees as assigned Competitive salary, excellent benefit package that includes401K, Profit Sharing, Healthcare benefits, Dental, LTD, sick day allowance,paid holidays and vacation. Details: Talascend is currently seeking a Senior Instrumentation Designer for a contract to possible direct hire opportunity with our client located in New Orleans, Louisiana. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide AutoCAD drafting and design services by preparing and maintaining instrumentation drawings. May recommend modifications and changes for design improvement and simplification. Produce complex technical drawings and documentation including preparation of the Instrument Index, Instrument Location Plans, Instrument Loop Sheets, Wiring Diagrams, junction box layouts, installation details, preparation of data sheets, and input to the project P&IDs associated with in-house projects. Coordinates with engineers and other designers to produce drawings in accordance with a client’s needs. Prepare working drawings from conceptual layout to detailed finished product. Prepare and assemble project deliverables. Works as part of project team handling miscellaneous small and large projects. Ability to develop design drawing package and provide oversight to other designers and draftsman. Assists in the collection of data on manpower, man-hour and labor costs requirements for design staff to aid in evaluating the budget. Check drawings for technical accuracy and compliance with codes, regulations and client requirements. Occasional site visit to client power plants, chemical plants, and refineries may be required.
