Part TIme 2nd Shift Fork Lift Operator

We are adding Part Time 2nd shift Machine Operator positions to our team on Oakwood Road. The role of our 2nd Shift Machine Operator is to stock pick replenishment for the line. Operator can often spend the full shift on a machine, which means standing, lifting and bending from the machine platform to get product from the warehouse racks up to 30’ in the air. Respect for safety and surroundings is an absolute must. Will need to use a scan gun and tablet to record transactions as they are being picked. Must NOT be afraid of heights and comfortable operating a variety of powered industrial trucks – experience preferred, but will train the right candidates. Will be trained in DAX applications, so must be comfortable with warehouse computer transactions. This person will be called upon to cross train and perform other warehouse tasks such as receiving, repacking items and a variety of other warehouse tasks as needed. Team Members must be able to contribute to improvement efforts of high performance work teams. 2nd shift = Monday – Thursday 4Pm – 11PM, Friday – 2:30 – 9PM **** Rush October – January MUST be able to work Sundays from 6AM – 2:00 – with Friday’s off (unless for overtime) Starting wage is $12.77 per hour. These are NOT seasonal positions. Start dates are May 11 or May 26th! The ideal candidate will have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English. High School education is preferred. Basic computer skills will be necessary. Must be customer focused and be able to contribute in an empowered team environment. Requires extended periods of standing, and the physical manipulation of merchandise and materials by walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling and lifting.
