The NP/PA manages complex, chronically and acutely ill patients, through clinic visits, outpatient procedures, consultations and occasional inpatient duties. He/she works with administrative and clinical staff and university faculty to assure quality urologic care, works with other pediatric providers to deliver multidisciplinary care, and coordinates home care and school care for children and adults with chronic conditions. The NP/PA also plans and participates in learning opportunities for residents, nursing students, and medical students. This Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will practice approximately 50% at the UWHC East Madison Clinic and 50% at pediatric urology outreach clinics to the north and east of Madison, with core hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This is a full-time salaried position. Core Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. This position will have 50% travel responsibilities to Outreach sites. The minimum starting salary for this position is $75,545.60 annually.
