Accounting Intern

Details: SUMMARY: The Accounting Intern will be supporting the Finance Department with monthly accounting entries and reporting duties. Responsibilities will include account reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger entry or review, fixed asset maintenance, and weekly/quarterly/year-end reporting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform a wide variety of month end closing duties per monthly closing checklist Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Issue a variety of reporting around sales, inventory, backlog, etc. Documentation of current processes. Assist with special projects as required. The work schedule would be Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:30pm with an occasional Saturday morning rotation. As a member of Acadia Healthcare, Madison East Comprehensive Treatment Center is a substance abuse treatment facility serving patients diagnosed with the disease of opiate addiction. We are located in an high-end medical office where we offer individual and group therapy along with medication assisted treatment in an outpatient setting. Duties would include intake and assessment of needs, development of a treatment plan, group and individual counseling, case management, referral to other services to meet the identified needs while counseling the individual towards a life of recovery.
