PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the SEO and CRO strategy for the University across multiple digital properties Optimize site conversions and leverage search trends creating relevant value-based content Execute website and UX audits, keyword research and competitive analysis Manage a continuous conversion optimization process to maximize the performance of all University web properties Present SEO analytics and reports to show ROI and utilize consumer/web analytics/metrics to deliver accurate and actionable analysis, insights and recommendations on SEO and web content strategy Drive SEO best practices to deliver link building, content assessment & recommendations, mobile optimizations, site search enhancements: synonyms, best bets, boosts & blocks, etc. Conduct and create training materials regarding SEO best practices Optimize or create Page Titles, Meta Descriptions, Meta Keywords, and Image ALT Tags for new and existing web pages, as well as review website content index, wireframes, comps and copy drafts to ensure proper usage of important keyword phrases in URL's, links and page body Identify areas of concern within websites that could prohibit major search engines from finding our content Keep pace with the search industry trends and developments and seeing through implementation of new technologies that enhance SEO presence Ensure a creative yet consistent message that adheres to and supports the Herzing University brand, visual identity, and messaging standards across all media Collaborate across the organization to capture new content and help ensure message compliance Confer with team members and stakeholders concerning all aspects of projects, including expectations of design, turnaround time, and approvals QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Proficient skills in the Adobe Creative Suite® software, as well as Microsoft Office® products Possess a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape, and be comfortable working in a fast- paced environment Exceptional written and communication skills and ability to interact comfortably with a variety of audiences Strong interpersonal and team player skills Ability to coordinate multiple projects and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with good judgment, initiative, follow-through, and attention to detail Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement and willingness to take on new challenges Strong proofreading skills. Must be committed to accuracy and attention-to-detail Able to work independently, with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, but also perform as a key team player Must be self-motivated and have the ability and desire to assume ownership of responsibilities Possess the ability and desire to build strong rapport with a diverse group of people at various levels, internally and externally Exceptional written and communication skills and ability to interact comfortably with a wide variety of design, turnaround time, and approvals Proactive, outgoing, positive, and professional personality EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree 3-5 years SEO and CRO experience 2+ years' experience writing marketing communications Experience testing web pages using Optimize is preferred Experience in higher education or financial services is a plus #CB
