Prepare and run complex bend set ups and forming operations. This includes custom punch/die modification used in combination with other tooling (either standard or custom). Must have a full understanding of print reading and geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part. Thorough understanding of flat pattern layout. Ability to train less experienced operators. Work with material handler to make sure material for each job is staged in proper locations for maximum efficiency. Work with management to identify areas of process improvement, cost and waste reduction. Efficiently set up and operate Rolling Machine to produce quality product in a safe manner. May be required to participate in training additional operators. Handle large sheets of aluminum skins without damage. Perform daily inspections prior to the start of each operating shift. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as required. Required Education, Experience, Certification, Licenses, Registration: High school diploma or GED is required. 2 years operating a Press Brake experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must be able to read a tape measure, micrometers, calipers, protractors, interpret tolerances and pay attention to detail.
